I am a designer who specializes in data discovery tools.

So many companies see the value of data, but aren’t seeing the results it should be providing to their business.

Why is that?

Most data discovery tools are being created by either data scientists who have no formal design training, designers with no experience in data science, or employees outside of both data science and design who are trying to make their data useful for themselves.

This is where my skill set is extremely valuable. My background in research, data science, and visual arts makes me the perfect tool to bridge the gap. You need a combination of data science, and design thinking to create an outstanding data discovery products.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Exxon Mobil

Data Visualization & UX Generalist

March 2022 - Present

Collaborated with Europe, America, and the Global Marketing & Sales team to create both internal and expernal tableau dashboards for all of the fuels and lubes services. Primary responsibilities were to Research, Strategize, Design, and Test.
Operated in an Agile work environment with 2-week sprints.

Performed researched on end users to understand key challenges, business goals, and user needs.

Worked cross functionally with business leads to ideate best solutions and drive product development.

Developed User Journeys, and created affinity maps to ensure a strong foundation for our design.

Produced low fidelity wireframes with a fail fast approach to quickly ensure that designs are aligning with business and user objectives.

Facilitated User Testing on design ideations to create confidence in which solution would best address user needs.

Created high fidelity wireframes with interactive prototyping for final confirmation of design and development hand off.
